BD Wise Ministries to the Homeless is a 501c3 nonprofit organization raising funds to help purchase food to feed homeless people on Skid Row in Los Angeles, CA. We also sell non-perishable food products and use some of the proceeds to purchase more resources to run the operations. Please make your donations or purchases today because the need is great. We want to also provide bibles to the people to meet their spiritual as well as physical needs. Your donations and purchases are very much appreciated and 100% of all donations go to ministering to the homeless and impacting lives for the kingdom of God as well as the communities in which we live. OUR VISION &MISSION
Vision
We will start with 4 vans donated to BD Wise Ministries from major corporations, churches, individuals, philanthropies, etc.
These vans will be used for a 5 phase Ministry:
Phase 1 - Van 1 - Will be used to provide food, snack bags, protein drinks, ensure drinks and water –We are Currently Renting a Cargo Vanwe are Currently still in the first phase.
Phase 2 - Van 2 - Will be used to provide large 5 gallons of warm water, small-large size tubs or a shower van to washup,soap, wash cloths and bath towels, women can shampoo, and blow dry their hair, men can wash up shave, trim hair, and beard. Deodorant, perfume, and cologne provided.
Phase 3 - Van 3- Will be used to provide clean or new clothes small, med, large, xlarge and new men and women underwear small, medium, large, xlarge, socks and shoes of various sizes or clothes and shoes voucher can be given and provide transportation to stores donating to the homeless ministry.
Phase 4 - Van 4 - Will be used to provide training - how to speak professionally, how to present self when seeking work, employ people right away to pass out flyers in neighbor hoods for real estate agents farming areas. Providing advertising for small businesses such as holding up signs directing traffic to businesses passing out flyers in shopping areas for businesses, training individuals to do multi-level marketing cold calls and customer service.
Phase 5 - Building - Seeking a large building facility donated to renovate to provide these and other services such as a phone center to handle customer service calls for businesses. Also renovate portions of the building to provide small rooms for individuals and public baths for showers and beauty and barber shops for grooming, train hair stylish and barbers, training others to operate clothing store inside the facility, snack shops and restaurants all ran by people that have been trained in operating business. They can then go out and start their own small businesses getting grants or short-term loans and continue to receive coaching on
bookkeeping paying taxes and operating their businesses.
God has already prepared the heart and minds of individuals in businesses and organizations that have buildings and properties to donate to the ministry.
Luke 22:8-13
And He sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the Passover, that we may eat.
And they said unto Him, where wilt thou that we prepare?
And He said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples?
And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
And they went and found as He had said unto them: and they made ready the Passover.
I’m believing that God has prepared the hearts and minds of good men and women and organizations that will donate Cargo Vans, Buildings, lands, and many resources that we need for the homeless ministry to have a greater impact upon the community that we serve. Just as the goodman gave the upper room for Jesus to hold the Lord’s Supper in Jesus' name Amen.
I believe that you are that goodman/good woman/good organization that God has inspired to sow seed into this ministry for this much-needed cause right here in America where homelessness needs to be eradicated forever.
